Will Cruickshank shortlisted for the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award

Will Cruickshank is one of 8 shortlisted artists for this year's Mark Tanner Sculpture award. The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is the most significant award for emerging artists working in the field of sculpture in the UK. The award offers £10,000 in financial support towards the production of new work, plus a funded solo exhibition at Standpoint Gallery, London, plus a National Touring Programme.

 

The artists were selected from close to 280 entries by a judging panel comprising: Kira Freije, Artist; Thomas Ellmer, Exhibitions Curator, Mead Gallery, Warwick Arts Centre; Rebecca Scott, Director, Cross Lane Projects and Mark Tanner Trust; and Harriet Bowman, Mark Tanner Sculpture Award winner 2024/25.

 

The winner will be announced at the exhibition opening for the current recipient, Harriet Bowman, at Standpoint Gallery on Thursday 15 May.
