Des Hughes and Laura Ford will be exhibiting two works in this year's Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
Held every year without interruption since 1769, the Summer Exhibition showcases a diverse array of contemporary works, including prints, paintings, films, photography, sculpture, and architectural works. It features a mix of art by household names and emerging talent
Des will be exhibiting Climbing Frame, 2022, a bronze sculpture of a old wooden stepladder, and No One Left and No One Came, 2024 a wallpaper design which featured in his gallery exhibition, Empty House, in the autumn of 2024. Laura will be exhibiting Under My Roof, 2024 which was exhited in her gallery exhibition, Under This Roof, in the summer of 2024.
