Two Rooms: Lindsey Bull and Will Cruickshank

We are delighted to announce Two Rooms, a two person exhibition featuring watercolours and oil paintings by Lindsey Bull alongside textile sculptures by Will Cruickshank.

Painted facing away in minimal washy strokes, Bull's stylish figures embody a whimsical air of intrigue that resists interpretation and instead celebrates self-expression through vibrant and flamboyant hair and clothes choices.

Cruickshank's tactile sculptures place similar importance on colour; heavily imbued with pattern and symmetry, their design appears connected to something unknown and sacred. A revelation perhaps to understanding the works' air of devotion is learning their meticulous process, having been woven by complex makeshift machines devised by Cruickshank from repurposed cement mixers, bikes, or potters wheels.
